America! This is bad news, indeed. Bernie Mac died on Saturday from pneumonia. At the age of 50, no less! I didn't know that people between the ages of 5 and 75 could still die from pneumonia in the United States. Anyway, this makes me sad. The Bernie Mac Show is one of my favorites and I'm sure to get a bit teary when I'm watching it at 1 AM tomorrow.
In unrelated news, Issac Hayes also died this weekend. I don't think they know why yet, though. If it proves to be pneumonia, my faith in the U.S. medical community is officially ruined.

FYI - Paul Neumann ALSO not doing so hot. But he's got cancer.
I when I heard that Mac had died, I was sad like I knew him. Like Don Cheadle said, "Heaven just got funnier."
yeah heaven, thats where Uncle Mac is, heaven. PS. he did have a underlying lung condition and had been in the hospital for like 3 weeks. Hope my flowers got there in time
